Rebecca Gets Married
My co-worker, Pat, asked me to make a doll for her daughter-in-law to be, Rebecca, for a shower gift. Pat is the keeper of the wedding gown, so she let me sneak a look. I took some pictures and made some sketches. The doll body is from a Mary Tressler pattern. Here is the finished doll.
I commissioned the Rebecca Gets Married doll for my soon-to-be daughter-in-law. It was the best gift at the bridal shower! The dress is dead-on accurate to the actual wedding dress. The doll is beautiful and the care and craftsmanship is clear in every nook, crany and garter of the doll. Best of luck to Janice in all her future endeavors.
This being my first blog experience I am happy to report it only took 2 tries. Sorry for the duplicate message on the "Favorites" page.
